Incredible $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Online Gaming GM's Dream
Following a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back for a limited time available until Dec. 2. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company over the years, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist multiple package options available here.
The Main Attraction
The standout feature is definitely permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.
A regional fantasy map created using the CC3+ software platform.
Package Levels
Basic Package
The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Intermediate Package
The eight-item bundle for at least $15 offers enhanced value by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly more advantageous for cartography beginners since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.
Philanthropic Aspect
As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options is toward the top of the page, but you can also select their donation amount on the right side of the page. Additionally available is an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, enabling adjustment of the distribution percentage goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
